Crusader Parents,
CYO sports at Our Lady of Hope is beginning its third year. Our first two years were very successful. Over 200 young boys and girls have participated in the basketball and track programs, as well as the drop in basketball and softball clinics.

CYO Athletic Programs
CYO Sports are organized by the Northern Virginia Catholic Youth Organization (NVJCYO) for the youth of its 55 member parishes. The NVJCYO, which dates back to 1959, is an all volunteer, non-profit, lay organization, incorporated in the State of Virginia, which is governed by the consent of the parish representatives under the auspices of their parishes and pastors. The NVJCYO strives to provide well organized sports activities which foster excellent sportsmanship, competition and instruction in a Catholic based environment.
Without fanfare, the NVJCYO has established a proud tradition of well-organized sports activities with excellent sportsmanship and instruction. In these times of upwardly spiraling costs, NVJCYO sports activities are a clear bargain to the participants and the sponsoring parishes. Through careful managing of its general funds, the NVJCYO regularly returns an investment to the diocese, by contributing significant funds to building or renovating gyms and ball fields at parishes and diocesan high schools.
